This piece of art was done by Paris Bread who is currently a student at The University of Montana Missoula. He is 23 years old and was born and raised in the art community. His mother Jackie Bread is from the Blackfoot tribal community, and has been pursuing her passion in art since she was a child. Paris’ father Nate Bread is part Navajo and Apache, and like Jackie has been involved in the Native American art community for many years. His mother specializing in beed work and drawing, and his father exceling in multiple styles of art from metal work to painting, have helped Paris learn what they were taught growing up. Paris has been in the scene since he was in grade school and has entered in many competitions, helping him get his name out there. He is one of our most recent artists to join Montana Native American Art and we hope you all enjoy his modernized touch with classic traditions.
